Letter, poem and clipping dated May 7, 1934 by Eleanor Risley in Mena, Arkansas, writing to Paul NIchols and Louella Nichols in Fairhope, Alabama. Eleanor Risley and her husband Pierre (aka Peter) lived in Fairhope for a few years in the 1920s. Risley, a poet and author, included a newspaper clipping about her book "The Road to Wildcat" in this letter to the Nichols. Risley refers to "John" in the letter, who was the couple's old dog.
