Description |
Letter dated 12/14/1909 to R. F. Powell from Joseph Fels declining to interfere in a squabble between Powell and Gaston (regarding the livery stable). Fels reminds Powell that he furnished nine-tenths of the capital for the Fairhope Improvement Company. He has also loaned Ira Powell money which has not been repaid and has not recieved a penny on account of the loan he made to Mr. and Mrs. Powell to improve their house. Fels says that it is Powell's duty to see that he is treated squarely and properly. He says that his business transactions with Powell have so far in every case been disastrous. |
