Description |
Letter dated 7/2/1911 to G. W. Wood from James Bellangee. Bellangee has received his water bill for the first half of 1911, but is not able to pay at present because of buying too many jars to use to can his garden's produce, and because of an issue with a house (?). However, he takes this opportunity to write a long letter outlining the problems of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporations development and administration of the Water Works system, and his proposed solutions. He is also of the opinion that the Water Works should be a function of the municipal government, not the FSTC. From the papers of Anne Bellangee Call. |
