Memorandum of Agreement between the Peoples Raiload Company and the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation regarding the Fairhope Wharf, 2/8/1913. This document states the beneifts of havinga railroad to connect to Robertsdale for the growth and convenience of Fairhope. The agreement states that the FSTC "will give to the Peoples Railroad Co. for the term of five years from Jan. 1, 1913, the right to administer Fairhope Wharf." The earning of the wharf will then make up any deficiencies in the earning of the Peoples Railroad. The agreement allows the Railroad company to take possession of, operate and keep the revenues of the wharf. From the papers of Anne Bellangee Call. |
