Description |
Letter dated 9/18/1898 to E. B Gaston from William Brown in North Wilmington, Massachusetts. He has filed an application for membership to the Fairhope Industrial Association, and is leaving the references section blank because Gaston knows him. He comments about saw mills, and says in his area of the country, portable steam saw mills are being used now rather than permanently located mills. He suggests the FIA acquire as much timber land and land with clay deposits as possible. |
