Meeting Minutes of the Fairhope Industrial Association dated August 26, 1895. Executive Council Members Present: Mrs. D. A. Lamon, George Pollay, Jennie Pollay, J. P. Hunnel, C. L. Coleman, E. B. Gaston C. L. Coleman reported that the piles for the pier were all in, that Mr. Cherry would board at home and get paid $2.50 a day instead of $2.00 and board. E. B. Gaston introduced the matter of assessment of lands occupied by members to think about. George Pollay asked for a reconsideration of the valuation fixed on his land. It was decided that Mr. Lambert would be paid balance of $15.00 in cash instead of $25.00 in Wharf Certificates. |
