Description |
Letter dated 12/18/1897 to E. B. Gaston from Jas. H. Francis of New Britain, Connicticut. Francis says he would like Debs (likely Eugene Debs) to look at the Fairhope colony, even though Debs' theory of economic reform is radically different from the Fairhope plan. Francis merely wants Debs to see how a successful colony works. Francis also includes subscription money for the Fairhope Courier newspaper. |
