Description |
Letter dated 8/25/1979 to members of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation from Ruth Rockwell. Mrs. Rockwell says the current differences of opinion within the Corporation are a healthy sign, but must be accompanied with respect and correct information. Further she says the Executive Council's issuance of the "Letter of Censure" violates the "spirit and purpose of the Corporation" and is "an invasion of the rights of its members." She offers eight suggestions to help resolve apparent differences among the membership including better communication about Corporation business, not influencing the Membership Committee, reviewing the By-Laws, resuming bi-monthly Council meetings, holding regular committee meetings, reporting to the membership annually, etc. |
