Description |
Letter dated 2/16/1906 to Daniel Kiefer in Chicago, Illinois from Joseph Fels of Philadelphia. Fels is writing from London, England. Fels has received some circulars which Kiefer sent. They arrived with postage due and Fels says "this kind of a damn thing makes me madder than a wet hen!" But he is sending Kiefer a check for $20 for the Bigelow Press Bureau, and suggests Kiefer encourage Bigelow to give some lectures on Fairhope. He says R. F. Powell has lectured on Fairhope to large audiences and will be glad to share his information. Fels says "nobody says a word about it (Fairhope) outside of those who have been there." He wants Fairhope to have better publicity on the national stage. He tells Kiefer "you meet a lot of single-tax people who talk and write on the movement." He asks Keifer to put in a good word whenever he can. |
