Description |
Letter dated 3/23/1904 by James Bellangee, Treasurer of the Fairhope Industrial Association. This is in reference to a suit brought by Mr. George Hoyle for land he wanted to reclaim that is now possessed by the Fairhope Industrial Association. Mr. V. Watros has loaned the association $100 to settle the suit, and A. H. Mershon of Mershon Brothers has loaned $58 for the same purpose. Receipts accompany the letter. This is written on letterhead which has a picture of what looks like a Frank Stewart photograph with "The Gem of the Southland, Fairhope, Alabama, The Only Single Tax Community in America" printed on it. |
