Post card photograph dated 1915 of the Henry W. Rucker family in their bakery truck. Mr. Rucker came to Fairhope in 1907 and owned the Fairhope Bakery from 1909-1916, then moved to Albany, Georgia. The FSTC Archives has another picture of the family sans dog at PMG-1237 in their bakery delivery truck. Unsigned letter to the editor of the Eastern Shore newspaper, dated 5/26/1909, from E. B. Gaston. Gaston is responding to the charges in the newspaper that he and R. F. Powell met with F. A. Brossman, Mr. Henry W. Rucker and Mr. Greenbaum in New York at the Single Tax Conference, and misrepresented "things and conditions" in Fairhope." Gaston strongly denies the charges, and challenges the editor to provide proof.

Letter dated 5/26/1909 to Daniel Kiefer in Cincinnati, Ohio form Henry W. Rucker in Fairhope, Alabama. The Eastern Shore newspaper has published an article saying, while attending a Single Tax Conference in New York, E.B. Gaston and R.F. Powell mispresented conditions in Fairhope to himself, Mr. Greenbaum and Mr. Brossman. Rucker is denying those charges as far as he in concerned.
