Program for the dedication of the Christmas Tree park in memory of Joseph Christopher (1882-1929). The event was on Washington's Birthday in February, 1931 and included songs and poems, as well as tributes to Mr. Christopher from town leaders and friends. The event took place in Knoll Park in Fairhope, Alabama where the memorial tree was planted. This small bound book was reprinted from the Fairhope Courier article (February 26, 1931 issue). Christopher owned Christopher Publishing House in Hingham, Massachusetts. With his wife Alice Herring Christopher, he lived in Fairhope part time in the 19teens and 1920s and contributed to the community.
