Correspondence of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation dated August 1934 regarding the Home Owners Loan Corporation. FSTC lessees had been rejected as applicants for the program (see 29.10.3) in February 1934, and these letters are addressing that issue. Letters are from and to the FSTC with these individuals: Senator Hugo Black, Congressman Lister Hill (2nd district of Alabama), Wallace H. Walker, J. Chandler Burton (State Counsel for the HOme Owners Loan Corporation), and J. H. Webb (District Counsel). There is a draft letter to all attorneys in Baldwin County, Alabama about this issue.
